On July 25, 2025, the Second Chamber of the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine held an interview and determined the results of the qualification assessment of Yevhen Vasyliev within the competition for the position of judge of the Commercial Court of Appeal.
According to the results of the qualification assessment, the candidate scored 715,5 points. The Commission recognised Yevhen Vasyliev as having confirmed his ability to administer justice in the commercial court of appeal.
A total of 70 candidates were interviewed: 42 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in the commercial court of appeal, 17 candidates did not confirm their ability, and 11 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission.
