Competition for the Courts of Appeal: Two Candidates Have Confirmed the Ability to Administer Justice at the Odesa Court of Appeal, and One Candidate at the Lviv Court of Appeal

On May 27, 2026, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, sitting in plenary session, considered the issue of confirming the ability of two candidates for the position of a judge to administer justice at the Odesa Court of Appeal and one candidate at the Lviv Court of Appeal.

Based on the results of the session, the Commission took the following decisions:

Please be reminded that 50 candidates submitted applications to participate in the competition for 23 vacant positions of judges at the Odesa Court of Appeal.

In total, interviews were conducted with 49 candidates for the Odesa Court of Appeal: 31 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice, 18 failed to confirm it. One candidate withdrew from the competition.

55 candidates have applied to participate in the competition for 28 vacant positions of judges at the Lviv Court of Appeal.

In total, interviews were conducted with 42 candidates: 27 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice in the general court of appeal, 8 failed to confirm it, and 7 candidates will be interviewed by the plenary session of the Commission. One candidate withdrew from the competition.
